I was not aware of the "alliance...Babieca --

I was not aware of the "alliance" scheme. That makes this even worse. I very much hope that folks have taken note as to how well the Aztex were (are) supported and that this is only a brief hiatus. You all deserve better.

As to "entitlements," I hope that is not the takeaway from the post. I don't think season ticket holders are "entitled" to know anything about the inner workings of a club. I would love to know what Real Maryland's plans are for next season. I am both a season ticket holder and a business sponsor, but what the club decides to do is not my business. And if they don't move into USPRO and go dark next year, I don't have any reason to complain. The club played routinely to meager crowds. That is, in part, my fault as much as anyone else's, as I never got people outside of my family to go to games, despite the club's best efforts to put a quality product on the field.

Nevertheless, while season ticket holders may not be entitled to a say in the operations of a team, disrespecting those dedicated fans is suicidal for any franchise or franchise owner. Professional soccer teams sell an entertainment and that entertainment requires an audience. Implying that your audience does not matter is not, as a practical matter, sound business judgment.College Park Addicktedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01800382163910365246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2010502775025990879.post-29765856667823921022010-10-27T17:55:26.056-04:002010-10-27T17:55:26.056-04:00@ Anonymous 1

Really hope the US soccer pyramid gets some help.

@anonymous 1 comment
Maybe you should be first in line to buy season tickets. The FO loves soccer and money but not in that order. He also welcomes volunteers and plays golf. You should sign up to carry his bags.

No ill will towards Orlando. Just know what you are getting in advance.

Regards,
Austin Soccer FanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2010502775025990879.post-67016041150730612942010-10-27T13:55:58.729-04:002010-10-27T13:55:58.729-04:00Plus, you know, I want to be catered to, because I...Plus, you know, I want to be catered to, because I bought season tickets and that means I'm entitled to know the inner workings of the club.
